Dr Vikram Patil is an Interventional Cardiologist with more than a decade of experience. Dr Patil after finishing his MBBS from JNMC, Belgaum and went to complete his MD in General Medicinefrom KSHEMA, Mangalore and awarded the Gold Medal.After completing his MD, Dr Patil completed his DM in Cardiology from M S Ramaiah Medical College, Bengaluru where he had been awarded as the Best Outgoing Student of the batch. At present Dr Vikram Patil is attached as full-time consultant in interventional cardiology at Meitra United Heart Center, Kasaragod.
Dr Patil has been at the forefront of innovations and bringing new and better care to the patients.
He had done the first laser angioplasty in acute myocardial infarction which is first of its kind in India and the same was presented and well appreciated at National and International Conferences in India and Singapore.
Besides attending national conferences, Dr. Patil also has many publications in peer reviewed journals to his credit. He was attached with J J Hospital, the largest tertiary & quaternary cardiac referral hospital and closely worked with one of the best cardiac team in Asia.
