Dr. Vinod V
Dr. Vinod V is Head of Spine Surgery and Sr. Consultant, Bone and Joint Care, at Meitra Hospital. He has an overall experience of over 12 years in this specialised field. He completed his MBBS from Thrissur Medical College in 2000, post-graduation in MS Ortho and D Ortho from Government Medical College, Calicut. He finished DNB in Orthopaedics in 2005. Later he completed his Fellowship in Spine Surgery from Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore in 2009. He underwent AO Spine Fellowship from Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham in 2014. He holds a visiting fellowship in Spine Surgery from Cleveland Hospital, Florida in 2015. He is the first qualified spine surgeon in North Kerala who performed more than 2000 spine surgeries ranging from base of skull to tail bone of various pathologies. His interests are in the field of deformity correction of the spine, minimally invasive surgeries and complex spine surgeries.
