Dr Gopalakrishnan is a renowned Senior Consultant in the department of Bone and Joint care, Meitra. He is head of the Hand and Microvascular Surgery Wing. After completing Masters in Ortho, he worked at Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore. Later, he completed 2 years fellowship training in Hand microvascular surgery from the Institute for Research and rehabilitation of Hand under Plastic Surgery Department of Stanley Hospital, Chennai. He worked at Aster MIMS till 2016. His areas of special interest are wrist surgeries and arthroscopy in addition to major and micro replants, peripheral nerve surgeries and brachial plexus repair and reconstruction and bony and soft tissue repair and reconstruction in upper limb trauma.
